Levine Properties has been in the news lately for their major project in uptown Charlotte’s First Ward neighborhood. However, they’re also underway with a much smaller boutique apartment building in East Charlotte’s Plaza-Midwood neighborhood.
The Plaza-Midwood project is going up at the corner of Commonwealth Ave and St. Julien Street. It will consist of 105 units made up of 80 studio and one bedroom apartments and the remainder in two and three bedroom models. The location is in the middle of Plaza-Midwood and just steps from the Common Market, Harris Teeter, and other neighborhood amenities.
In a Charlotte Business Journal article, Levine Properties president, Daniel Levine said, “That neighborhood will be good for a very long time (referring to Plaza-Midwood), and those are the kinds of neighborhoods we want to be in.”
