New Residential In-fill Construction in East Charlotte’s Plaza Midwood Neighborhood

Yesterday we shared about how hot the residential real estate market has become in east Charlotte. Building on that, I wanted to share about a new residential project I learned about recently. Driving down Independence Blvd a few weeks ago, I noticed construction and wondered about it. It turns out that it is the Pulte Homes Midwood Square project. These new homes are tucked between Independence Blvd and the Elizabeth Square and Metro 808 apartment complexes – right in the heart of Plaza Midwood.

The homes will be multiple stories with driveway parking. It looks like they be 2,375+ square feet with 3+ bedrooms and bathrooms. The website has prices starting at $365,000. This is a great location in that is within walking distance of so much of the Plaza Midwood area but it’s close to Elizabeth too. It will also be very close to Phase 2 of the streetcar line scheduled for 2019. I like that these homes are making use of some unique in-fill space. They’re at the end of the street, so there will be no through traffic.

The sales office is in the converted older home at the corner of Central Ave and Hawthorne Lane. Stop by and check them out! Tell them that you learned about them on CharlotteEast.com!
